Organised and sponsored by the Ministry of Housing and Sepes, the conference focused on the two cited issues: urban sustainability (featuring the presentation of the Reference Framework for Sustainable European City results) and integrated urban regeneration, with a special focus on issues such as climate change and the economic crisis.
As part of the agenda of events linked to the Spanish Presidency of the European Union during the first half of 2010, on April 26 and 27 Madrid hosted the High-Level Conference on Urban Sustainability and Integrated Urban Regeneration in Europe. This meeting sought to showcase policies, programmes and best practices carried out in European Union countries and thus foster a genuine exchange of experiences between representatives from the 27 EU states.
The results of these reflections is what we offer in various formats on this website.
